The KYN28-24 armoured metal-enclosed switchgear is designed for three-phase AC power systems with a rated voltage of 3.6–24 kV and frequency of 50/60 Hz. It is used for the reception and distribution of electrical energy, as well as for control, monitoring, and protection of electrical circuits.

The switchgear is suitable for applications such as single busbar systems and single busbar sectionalized systems.
This product complies with relevant international and national standards, including:
- IEC 62271 – High-voltage switchgear and control gear for rated voltages above 1 kV up to 52 kV
- IEC 60694 – Common specifications for high-voltage switchgear and control gear
- GB 3906 – AC metal-enclosed switchgear and control gear for 3.6–40.5 kV
- DL/T 404 – AC metal-enclosed switchgear and control gear for 3.6–40.5 kV
The switchgear is designed with a complete and reliable interlocking system to ensure safe and dependable operation.
Product Features
The KYN28-24 armoured metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter referred to as "switchgear") is a newly developed product designed by our company based on the introduction and absorption of advanced international manufacturing technologies. It offers the following key features:
The enclosure is entirely fabricated from aluminium-zinc coated steel sheets, processed by CNC machinery and formed through multiple bending operations, then assembled with high-strength fasteners. This ensures excellent mechanical strength, structural integrity, and aesthetic appearance. The cabinet doors are powder-coated, providing strong resistance to impact and corrosion. The enclosure achieves a protection degree of IP4X.
The main switching device can be equipped with our self-developed CRSI-24 vacuum circuit breaker, offering reliable performance.
Regardless of the type of circuit breaker selected, the insulation design ensures:
- Phase-to-phase clearance ≥ 180 mm
- Phase-to-earth clearance ≥ 200 mm
- Creepage distance ≥ 480 mm
When these requirements cannot be met, composite insulation is adopted. The circuit breaker features long service life, high reliability, low maintenance requirements, and compact size.
