The GGD type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet is suitable for power distribution systems in power plants, substations, and industrial and mining enterprises with AC 50 Hz, rated working voltage of 380 V, and rated current up to 4000 A. It is used for power conversion, distribution, and control of electrical energy for power, lighting, and distribution equipment.
The GGD type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet is designed in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Energy, large-scale power users, and design departments, following the principles of safety, economy, rationality, and reliability. It features high breaking capacity, good dynamic and thermal stability, flexible electrical schemes, convenient combination, strong series and practicality, novel structure, and high protection level. It can be used as an upgraded replacement product for low-voltage complete switchgear.
Environmental Conditions for Use
1.The ambient air temperature shall not exceed +40°C and shall not be lower than -5°C. The average temperature within 24 hours shall not exceed +35°C.
2.The equipment is intended for indoor installation. The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000 m.
3.The relative humidity of the surrounding air shall not exceed 50% at a maximum temperature of +40°C. Higher relative humidity is permitted at lower temperatures (e.g., up to 90% at +20°C). The possibility of condensation due to temperature variations shall be taken into consideration.
4.Pollution degree: 3.
5.The inclination between the equipment and the vertical plane shall not exceed 5°.
6.The equipment shall be installed in a location free from severe vibration and impact, and in places where electrical components are not subject to corrosion.
7.Special requirements from users can be resolved through consultation with the manufacturer.

Structure Characteristics
- The GGD cabinet adopts a general-purpose cabinet structure. The frame is assembled from 8MF cold-formed steel sections partially welded together. Frame components and special accessories are supplied by designated manufacturers to ensure the accuracy and quality of the cabinet. The parts of the universal cabinet are designed based on modular principles, with 20-module mounting holes, providing high versatility.
- The design of the GGD cabinet fully considers heat dissipation during operation. Ventilation slots of different quantities are arranged at the upper and lower ends of the cabinet. When electrical components inside the cabinet generate heat, the hot air rises and is discharged through the upper vents, while cool air continuously enters through the lower vents, forming a natural ventilation path from bottom to top within the sealed cabinet to achieve effective cooling.
- The GGD cabinet is designed in accordance with modern industrial product design requirements. The golden ratio principle is applied to the cabinet dimensions and sectional layout, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing and modern appearance.
- The cabinet door is connected to the frame with rotating hinge pins, allowing convenient installation and removal. A U-shaped rubber strip is embedded at the folded edge of the door. When closing the door, there is a certain compression stroke between the door and the frame, preventing direct impact and improving the protection level.
- The instrument door equipped with electrical components is connected to the frame using multiple strands of soft copper wire. The mounting parts inside the cabinet are connected to the frame with knurled screws, forming a complete protective earthing circuit for the entire cabinet.
- The cabinet surface coating can adopt polyester textured powder coating, offering strong adhesion and good texture. The entire cabinet has a matte finish, avoiding glare and providing a comfortable visual environment for operators.
- The top cover of the cabinet can be removed when necessary for convenient on-site installation and adjustment of main busbars. The four corners of the cabinet top are equipped with lifting rings for hoisting and transportation.
- The protection degree of the cabinet is IP30 as standard, and can be selected between IP20 and IP40 according to user installation requirements.
