Structural Types Of Dry-type Transformers

It mainly consists of an iron core made of silicon steel sheets and coils cast with epoxy resin. An insulating cylinder is placed between the high-voltage and low-voltage coils to increase electrical insulation, and the coils are supported and constrained by pads. All fasteners connecting the components have anti-loosening properties.

Structural Features:
⑴ Solid-insulated encapsulated windings
⑵ Unencapsulated windings
Windings: Of the two windings, the one with the higher voltage is the high-voltage winding, and the one with the lower voltage is the low-voltage winding.

From the relative position of the high-voltage and low-voltage windings, the high-voltage winding can be divided into concentric and overlapping types.

Concentric windings are simple and easy to manufacture, and this structure is used in all transformers.

Overlapping windings are mainly used in special transformers.
